St. Joseph's Primary School is part of St. Joseph’s Parish, Cobram in north-east Victoria. Our school has grown to a current population of over 300 students and 40 staff. The St. Joseph Sisters' have left characteristics of hard work, community and dedicated family as strong features of our school.
Originally the people of Cobram and Katamatite travelled to Strathmerton for Mass. Once a month Mass was also celebrated at Barooga by Fr. Patrick Hartigan (John O'Brien) of "Around the Boree Log" fame.
Later Cobram and Katamatite were part of Yarrawonga Parish. From 1910 - 1922 Cobram was part of Numurkah Parish, the Church here being built in 1911.
Children are enrolled at the beginning of the year in which they are five years of age, on or before April 30th of that year and it is encouraged that children previously attend kindergarten.
Parents are asked to present their child's Birth Certificate and Baptismal Certificate. All children enrolling at St. Joseph's School will be required to present an Immunisation Certificate.
